101th amendment- introduction of GST Bill.

100th amendment- the exchange of enclaves b/w India & Bangladesh.

86th amendment(2002) made primary education a fundamental right.

73rd amendment- inserted 11th schedule of the constitution. Panchayati Raj took force.

61st Amendment(1988) reduced voting age from 21 to 18.

56th Amendment(1987 May 30)- Goa state formed.

55th Amendment(1987)- Arunachal Pradesh formed.

53rd Amendment(1986)- Mizoram state formed.

52nd constitutional amendment deals with Anti-defection Law(1985).

44th Amendment removed right to property from fundamental rights & added to legal rights.

42nd Amendment(1976)- the words Socialist, Secular, Integrity added to the preamble of the Constitution.(only once when preamble is amended).
It added Fundamental duties to the Constitution.
Amendment gave precedence to Directive principles of state policy over Fundamental Rights.

36th Amendment(1975 April 26)- gave rise to the state Sikkim.

13th Amendment(1963)- Nagaland state was formed.

7th amendment (1956 November1)- state reorganization on the basis of Language.
Union territories came into being.

1st amendment (1951 June 18)- added part 9, articles 31A, 31B to the constitution.
