1st pazhashi riot (1793- 1797)
Riot was against the wrong tax policies of British. Jonathan Duncan, the then Bombay governor reached Malabar to meet him over the concern & a pact was reached in the mediatory of Chirakkal king.
2nd pazhashi riot (1800 - 1805)
It was an aftereffect of 4th Mysore war. Kurichyar were the main ware-front.
British subcollector Thomas Harvey Babur disintegrated Pazhashi riot.
The king was killed in November 30, 1805.
