It is the system of living things & their environment as a unit.
An Ecosystem can be of any size, but of specific, limited space.
Examples- Ocean, Forest, desert, grassland,
rivers etc.
The primary source of energy for all
ecosystems is the sun. An ecosystem is influenced by external & internal
factors.
External factors can be climate, topography etc.
Internal factors can induce changes on others and itself too.
Ecosystems are dynamic, they are disturbed & get balanced within itself.
It can be terrestrial or aquatic depending upon its in land or water.
Humans can influence ecosystem negatively or positively. Global warming is an example of cumulative effect of human activity.
